New Print!

I just released another new print in the shop: Amazing Grace. 

I'm really enjoying doing these little illustrations...giving myself a little "me time" in the midst of so much custom work. I have a very long list of Bible verses, hymns lyrics, and other sayings I'd like to add to this collection, so I hope to have more and more to show you soon.

Any requests for some favorite words you'd like to see in my shop? 

On another note, we're supposed to get our first snow tonight! I'm so excited...hopefully it will be enough to go play in tomorrow. It's been rainy and icky out all week, so a sunny day with snow on the ground will be quite the treat!

A new series of prints

This past week I've been obsessed with creating some smaller, meaningfull pieces. The first set were some of the states that I created, however, that quickly led me to start creating illustrations of my favorite scripture verses and hymns. 

I hope I continue doing these, but you know me, I'm always moving onto something else. These are a great way for me to combine my two passions from this past year though: lettering and florals designs. 

These three are available as 8" x 10" prints in my etsy shop - and I truly do hope to be creating some more in the near future, but we'll see. 

January is about to get pretty busy!

New Year Art Making

Happy New Years! I'm spending the day making some art. I'm working on a new series of illustrations to sell as prints in my etsy shop...states!

Invites: Lindsey and Brandon

When Lindsey contacted me about doing some custom invitations for her wedding, she mentioned how much she loved my paintings and wanted to incorporate that feel into the suite. I instantly thought, "Hoorah!" How fun to get to create something that infuses what I truly love to do. 

Lindsey wanted her invites to be colorful, watercolor-ish, and floral - and definitely different. 

This is what we created for her big day...

PS: I use a great site called Cards and Pockets to do all my printing. They do a great job and are super affordable! This suite was printed on white linen.
