Ahhh....so close, yet so far away.
My long awaited trip with my mom to see my sister.
I'll be out of here on Monday until the following Wednesday, and this trip couldn't come at a better time...because I'm pooped!
I'm so thankful to the Lord for this vacation: not only the time to be with my family, but the time to rest and regroup.
I have been on a whirlwind adventure getting Makewells Shop up and going, and I'm so beyond blessed at what God has provided. But, God has also given me a BRAIN and I want to use this time off to really think about the direction I'm going to go in as an artist/creative business owner.
As I've said in some previous posts, I've been saying YES to everything lately. That was just the season. A season of taking on more work than I can handle, because, well...that seemed the wise thing to do at the time.
But now is the time to figure out what I need to say no to.
So I hope to have some great talks with my mom on our loooooooooong layover and flight and make some really great lists (I love list making, don't you?).
In the meantime, I'll be posting on here until Monday - but after that, I have some amazing guest bloggers lined up with October 9-17th. I'm so excited for them to visit on here while I'm away.
So to give you a little sneak peek of what is to come, please go check out some of the great chicas I have stepping up on Makewells while I take a great vacation:
Jenna: Fresh Food Perspectives
Marcy: Marcy doesn't have a blog (YET), but she is a dear "artist" friend from Ft. Lauderdale
Vicki: Joyful Designs
Elizabeth: Yellow Elm
Nat: Modern Buttercup
Tricia: Daring Hue
Katherine: Day Dream House
Please give these ladies a warm welcome as they fill my shoes for a week +. Excited to have them aboard!
