The first day of school has come and gone...and I was not there to tell you about it. A little weird, but what was weirder was knowing that the paycheck I received yesterday was the last scheduled one I'll be receiving.
Now, as an official "freelancer" it's like the wild, wild west.
And so far, I'm loving it.
This week has been a bit hectic...finished up some graphic design work for a great spa in Illinois (Thexperience Spa - you can check out their site, but you won't see my work yet...so far just some email blasts).
Finished a few custom orders for paintings, lettering, menus, escort cards, etc... and made a fun trip to Crozet, VA with my man so he could write about it. (I love his job...it's like the RollingStone of little ole Lynchburg).
Anyhoo, here's a peek at what's been going on in my little art world this week. It's day by day here in my little studio, and I'm thankful to be doing what I'm doing!
(only a glimpse at this one, can't ruin the surprise for my client! Just in case...)
What I need more of though, is some sketchbook and art journaling time! When my battery died in the car Tuesday, I had a little time for that as I waited for Brent...
And some fun in Crozet with the Polo horses at King Family Vineyard
Happy Friday everyone!

You are so talented! The menus and place cards are to die for!
