My favorite thing to do with my hubby is explore new places. It doesn't matter where we are, we love to drive around, get lost, and see what life is like in other neighborhoods.
This weekend, we drove 2 hours through the winding mountain roads northwest to Warm Springs, Va, and cute little town nestled in the Shenandoah Valley. And I'm not saying "winding roads" lightly...seriously, the only way to get to this place is up and over a bunch of mountains, and then up and over a few more.
Here is a little photo collection from our time staying at the lovely Gristmill Square Inn, eating at the delicious Waterwheel Restaurant, and exploring the neighboring Hot Springs and Hidden Valley.
Of course, seeing this beautiful part of the country and visiting a few local galleries inspired me - so you might just see a landscape painting or two from me in the future...we'll see!
I love little trips like this with Brent. Happy Sunday!
