I discovered Michael Mew's work while sitting in Barnes and Nobles with a big stack of books and a coffee. Unfortunately, exactly what book I saw his work in, I just can't remember. But thankfully, I wrote down his name!
Michael does a lot of collage work as well, but it was his mixed media paintings on wood panels that captured me. Of course, the floral pieces were my favorites, but you can see a broader range of his work on his website. (lot's of vintage robots!)
